Going to a new job and don’t really know what to wear to work? Well then I would go with a business casual look. Business Casual is usually required by professional and white-collar workplaces. It became popular in the 1990s “when many young people with long hair and khakis became Silicon Valley millionaires,” according to Mark-Evan Blackman, chairman of the Fashion Institute of Technology’s menswear design department. Business Casual, presumably, is less formal than the professional attire but still requires careful and crisp coordination that shows the person’s professional status. Business casual is pretty much the new professional attire. It is not the best occasion to showcase your unique style; but this does not mean you have only a few choices since there are plenty of items that can create a successful business casual outfit. The preferred colors include grey, black, brown, navy blue, ivory, khaki and taupe. Business Casual is often applied to the daily work place and occasions and events such as networking events, and corporate conferences.
