This is a very loosely defined code to dress for. It’s casual, and yes it is smart enough to conform with social groups. Think….smart. Smart Casual is professional dressing in a slightly more relaxed environment. A lot of modern businesses are using this as their dress code. For some companies’ “Casual Fridays” usually indicates the smart casual style. It seems straightforward as it can be “relaxed,” “casual” and “smart.” However, it is also a tricky concept since you still have to keep the crisp and neat feeling in your outfit for your profession. You want to have some personality in your coordination and still look ready for the workforce instead of going on a vacation. The exciting thing is that Smart Casual allows you to play with more colors and elements. Events and occasions for Smart Casual include going to a play, winery, traveling/first class, academia, lunch meeting, and so on.
